Terms of Service
Last updated
These terms govern the use of the Tribes website, apps and services. They form a contract, so they are worth reading rather than scrolling.
Introduction and Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at tribes.wtf, the Tribes mobile applications for iOS and Android, and the products, software, social features, wallet functionality, trading interfaces, and other services made available by House of Tribes Inc. (“Tribes,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) (collectively, the “Services”).
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms or policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute a legally binding agreement between you and House of Tribes Inc.
By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, or otherwise indicating your acceptance of these Terms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Services.
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. THEY INCLUDE IMPORTANT PROVISIONS CONCERNING DIGITAL-ASSET RISKS, THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, BINDING ARBITRATION, A CLASS-ACTION WAIVER, AND A JURY-TRIAL WAIVER.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to access or use Tribes.
- you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement;
- your use of the Services is permitted under the laws applicable to you;
- you are not a Restricted Person as described in these Terms;
- you are not accessing the Services from a Restricted Jurisdiction;
- funds and digital assets you use through the Services are not derived from illegal or prohibited activity;
- you have the legal right to control and transact with the digital assets you use through the Services; and
- all information you provide where required is accurate and complete.
You are responsible for determining whether your use of Tribes is lawful where you are located.
Restricted Persons and Jurisdictions
The Services are not offered where their use would violate applicable law or applicable sanctions or restrictions.
- located in, ordinarily resident in, organized under the laws of, or otherwise accessing the Services from a jurisdiction subject to applicable comprehensive sanctions or restrictions;
- a person or entity subject to sanctions administered or enforced by authorities whose restrictions apply to the Services, including relevant United States sanctions authorities;
- owned or controlled by, or acting on behalf of, a Restricted Person; or
- otherwise prohibited from accessing or using digital-asset services under applicable law.
We may designate additional jurisdictions, persons, assets, or functionality as restricted where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or requirements applicable to our third-party providers.
You may not use a VPN, proxy, location-spoofing technology, or similar mechanism to circumvent or attempt to circumvent geographic, sanctions, or other access restrictions imposed through the Services. Attempting to circumvent such restrictions may result in immediate restriction, suspension, or termination of your access.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be identified by a revised “Last Updated” date. Where required by applicable law, we may provide additional notice of material changes. Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. Changes to dispute-resolution provisions will not apply retroactively where prohibited by applicable law.
Changes to the Services
Tribes is an evolving service. We may add, modify, suspend, restrict, replace, or discontinue any feature, supported blockchain network, digital asset, third-party integration, social feature, trading functionality, reward program, or other aspect of the Services. We do not guarantee that any particular token, network, feature, integration, or functionality will remain available. We may also release additional products or functionality subject to additional terms, eligibility requirements, geographic restrictions, or disclosures.
Accounts and Authentication
You must create an account to use the Tribes mobile application.
Tribes may support authentication through third-party providers, including Google, Apple, and X. Authentication methods may change over time.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, devices, authentication methods, and credentials. You may not sell, transfer, rent, or otherwise provide another person with unauthorized access to your Tribes account. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@tribes.wtf promptly.
Usernames, Profiles and Account Content
Tribes allows users to create usernames, profiles, profile pictures, and other account-identifying information (“Account Content”).
We reserve the right to reclaim, modify, restrict, or remove Account Content where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving impersonation, infringement of third-party rights, misleading information, prohibited or abusive content, prolonged inactivity, attempted sale or transfer of usernames, security concerns, or violations of these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
You may not sell, auction, transfer, or otherwise commercialize a Tribes username or account without our express written permission.
Embedded Non-Custodial Wallet
The Services allow you to access an embedded digital-asset wallet (“Wallet”).
The Wallet is generated and managed using third-party wallet infrastructure provided by Privy or another supported provider.
YOUR WALLET IS NON-CUSTODIAL. HOUSE OF TRIBES INC. DOES NOT HOLD, POSSESS, OR CONTROL YOUR DIGITAL ASSETS OR PRIVATE KEYS.
You control your Wallet and may be provided functionality to export your private key.
- securing your authentication credentials;
- securing your devices;
- safeguarding any private key or other wallet credentials you export;
- maintaining any information necessary to access or recover your Wallet; and
- ensuring that wallet addresses used for transfers are correct.
Tribes cannot recover a private key that we do not possess. Loss, theft, disclosure, or compromise of your authentication credentials, private key, device, or other wallet-access information may result in permanent loss of digital assets. You acknowledge and accept these risks.
Account Deletion and Wallet Access
Tribes provides account-deletion functionality.
Before deleting your Tribes account, you are responsible for exporting and securely preserving your private key or other wallet-access information if you intend to retain access to the Wallet and assets associated with it. The Services may display a warning and provide an opportunity to export your private key before account deletion.
IF YOU DELETE YOUR TRIBES ACCOUNT WITHOUT PRESERVING THE INFORMATION NECESSARY TO ACCESS YOUR NON-CUSTODIAL WALLET, HOUSE OF TRIBES INC. MAY BE UNABLE TO RESTORE ACCESS TO THAT WALLET OR ANY DIGITAL ASSETS ASSOCIATED WITH IT.
Deleting your Tribes account does not reverse, remove, or delete transactions recorded on public blockchain networks.
Deposits and Withdrawals
You may be able to transfer supported digital assets from an external wallet to your embedded Tribes Wallet and transfer supported digital assets from your Tribes Wallet to an external blockchain address. These transfers occur through blockchain networks and third-party infrastructure. House of Tribes Inc. does not take custody of your assets as part of this process.
Blockchain transactions may be irreversible.
- destination wallet addresses;
- blockchain networks;
- assets;
- transaction amounts; and
- other transaction details before submitting a transaction.
Sending an asset to an incorrect address, unsupported network, incompatible wallet, or incorrect destination may result in permanent loss.
Trading and Third-Party Infrastructure
Tribes provides an interface through which users may discover, view, buy, sell, swap, and otherwise interact with supported digital assets.
When you initiate a transaction through Tribes, the transaction may be routed or executed using independent third-party infrastructure, including Relay, supported blockchain networks, decentralized protocols, liquidity sources, smart contracts, APIs, and other third-party technologies.
HOUSE OF TRIBES INC. DOES NOT OPERATE THE UNDERLYING DECENTRALIZED EXCHANGES OR BLOCKCHAIN PROTOCOLS THROUGH WHICH TRANSACTIONS MAY BE EXECUTED. TRIBES IS NOT THE CUSTODIAN OF YOUR DIGITAL ASSETS AND DOES NOT TAKE POSSESSION OF YOUR ASSETS IN ORDER TO EXECUTE YOUR TRANSACTIONS.
Transactions initiated through the Services occur through third-party and blockchain infrastructure. Tribes provides software and an interface facilitating access to that infrastructure. Third-party services may be subject to their own
terms, privacy policies, eligibility requirements, and restrictions. You are responsible for reviewing any applicable third-party terms.
- execution;
- settlement;
- liquidity;
- transaction speed;
- availability;
- blockchain confirmation;
- protocol operation;
- smart-contract performance;
- price accuracy;
- routing;
- slippage;
- network congestion; or
- third-party uptime.
Supported Digital Assets and Networks
Tribes may support various blockchain networks and digital assets from time to time. We do not guarantee continued support for any particular blockchain network, cryptocurrency, token, memecoin, protocol, or other digital asset.
The availability of an asset through Tribes does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, representation regarding legitimacy, or statement concerning its value or suitability. We may add, restrict, suspend, or remove assets or networks at any time.
Fees
Your use of Tribes may involve fees charged by Tribes and fees or costs imposed by third parties, blockchain networks, protocols, liquidity providers, or market conditions. These are separate.
13.1 Tribes Trading Fee Tribes currently charges a 0.5% trading fee on applicable buy, sell, swap, or other supported transactions. The applicable Tribes fee will be displayed before you confirm a transaction. We may modify our fees from time to time. Unless otherwise stated, the fee displayed to you at the time you confirm the transaction is the Tribes fee applicable to that transaction.
13.2 Third-Party Fees and Costs Transactions may also involve costs that Tribes does not charge, receive, or control, including blockchain network or gas fees, protocol fees, liquidity-provider fees, routing costs, price impact, slippage, and differences between quoted and executed prices. Where practicable, the Services may display estimates or information concerning these costs. Any estimate may change before settlement and is not guaranteed. You are responsible for reviewing transaction information before confirmation.
Referral and Affiliate Program
Tribes may operate referral, affiliate, creator, influencer, or similar incentive programs (“Referral Programs”).
Under the current program structure, eligible participants may receive rewards equal to 50% of the Tribes trading fees generated by qualifying referred users, subject to applicable program conditions. For example, this refers to 50% of the trading fee earned by Tribes, not 50% of the referred user’s trading volume.
Referral rewards may be paid in digital assets, cash-equivalent rewards, credits, or other incentives determined by Tribes. Eligibility, qualifying activity, payout thresholds, payout timing, supported reward assets, percentages, and other Referral Program conditions may be established or modified by Tribes.
- refer yourself;
- create multiple accounts to generate referral rewards;
- refer accounts you own or control;
- fabricate trading activity;
- engage in wash trading or self-trading to generate rewards;
- coordinate artificial activity with other users;
- use bots or automation to manipulate the Referral Program; or
- otherwise manipulate or abuse a Referral Program.
We may investigate suspected abuse and may withhold, void, reverse, or claw back rewards obtained through fraud, manipulation, self-referral, prohibited activity, technical exploitation, or violation of these Terms. We may modify, suspend, or terminate a Referral Program or change its economics prospectively. Additional Referral or Affiliate Terms may apply.

CONTENT POSTED BY USERS DOES NOT REPRESENT THE VIEWS OF HOUSE OF TRIBES INC. AND IS NOT ENDORSED, VERIFIED, OR RECOMMENDED BY TRIBES.
You should independently evaluate information posted by other users before making financial decisions.
User Content
You retain ownership of content you create and post through the Services (“User Content”).
By posting User Content, you grant House of Tribes Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, format, adapt, and otherwise use your User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, improve, promote, and display the Services.
- you own or have the necessary rights to your User Content;
- posting the content does not violate the rights of another person;
- your content complies with applicable law; and
- your content complies with these Terms and our Community Guidelines.
This license ends when your content is deleted from our active Services, except where continued retention or use is reasonably necessary for backups, legal obligations, enforcement, security, dispute resolution, or content that has been independently shared or reproduced by others.
Reports and Content Moderation
Users may report posts, comments, Tribes/groups, or other users. We may review reports and investigate suspected violations.
- issue a warning;
- remove or restrict content;
- temporarily mute a user;
- permanently mute a user;
- restrict particular features;
- suspend an account; or
- permanently terminate an account.
The duration and severity of moderation measures may depend on the conduct involved, previous violations, risk to other users, and other relevant circumstances. We reserve reasonable discretion in making moderation and enforcement decisions. We do not guarantee that we will review or act on every piece of content or report immediately.
Community Conduct
You may discuss and promote digital assets and projects through Tribes, but you may not use the Services to post or distribute content that:
- is fraudulent, deceptive, or materially misleading;
- impersonates another person, company, project, or organization;
- intentionally misrepresents affiliation or endorsement;
- contains another person’s private or confidential information without authorization;
- infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual-property rights;
- constitutes unlawful harassment, threats, or targeted abuse;
- contains illegal sexual content or exploitation of minors;
- unlawfully promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence;
- is spam or unauthorized mass solicitation;
- facilitates illegal activity;
- contains malicious links or software; or
- otherwise violates applicable law or our Community Guidelines.
Promoting or discussing a token is not, by itself, prohibited. However, permission to discuss tokens does not permit scams, fraud, deceptive conduct, illegal market manipulation, or other prohibited activity.
Prohibited Uses
You may use Tribes only for lawful purposes.
- use the Services for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, fraud, theft, or other illicit financial activity;
- engage in pump-and-dump schemes, wash trading, self-trading, front-running, spoofing, layering, or other unlawful or deceptive market manipulation;
- fabricate transactions or performance;

- create or control accounts through unauthorized automated means;
- use bots or automated scripts to post content, manipulate engagement, generate artificial activity, or execute unauthorized automated trading activity;
- scrape or harvest Tribes data without authorization;
- probe, scan, attack, interfere with, or attempt to bypass the security of the Services;
- introduce viruses, malicious code, or harmful software;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from protected portions of the Services except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- collect another user’s personal information without authorization;

Digital-Asset Risks
Digital assets involve substantial risk.
- digital assets may be extremely volatile;
- you may lose some or all of the value of an asset;
- memecoins and newly issued tokens may involve particularly high risk;
- tokens may have little or no liquidity;
- token issuers, developers, or communities may disappear or abandon projects;
- scams, rug pulls, malicious tokens, honeypots, or fraudulent projects may exist;
- blockchain transactions may be irreversible;
- smart contracts may contain vulnerabilities or defects;
- blockchain networks may become congested, delayed, reorganized, attacked, or unavailable;
- third-party protocols may fail, be exploited, or become insolvent;
- quoted prices may differ from final execution prices;
- liquidity may disappear;
- regulatory treatment of digital assets may change; and
- loss of wallet credentials may result in permanent loss of access to assets.
You are solely responsible for determining whether any digital-asset transaction is appropriate for you.
No Financial, Investment, Legal or Tax Advice
Tribes is a technology and social platform. Information displayed through Tribes, including posts, comments, token information, portfolio information, trading activity, rankings, social signals, trending information, user opinions, and other content is provided for informational and social purposes.
HOUSE OF TRIBES INC. DOES NOT PROVIDE FINANCIAL, INVESTMENT, BROKERAGE, LEGAL, TAX, OR OTHER PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.
Nothing available through Tribes constitutes a recommendation to purchase, sell, or hold any digital asset. Other users are not agents or representatives of Tribes. You are solely responsible for your trading and financial decisions.
Third-Party Services and Materials
Tribes depends on and interacts with independent third parties. These may include Privy, Relay, blockchain networks, decentralized protocols, APIs, liquidity sources, authentication providers, data providers, and other services.
We do not control independent third parties. A third-party service may become unavailable, change its terms or fees, restrict access, experience security incidents, malfunction, discontinue functionality, or change the assets or networks it supports. Such changes may affect Tribes even where House of Tribes Inc. has no control over them. Your use of independent third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
Intellectual Property
Except for User Content and third-party materials, the Services and their software, designs, interfaces, branding, text, graphics, logos, functionality, and other content are owned by or licensed to House of Tribes Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms, Tribes grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for their intended purposes. No ownership interest in the Services or Tribes intellectual property is transferred to you.
“Tribes,” associated logos, product names, designs, and branding may be trademarks of House of Tribes Inc. or its licensors.
Feedback
If you provide ideas, suggestions, recommendations, or other feedback concerning Tribes (“Feedback”), you agree that we may use that Feedback without restriction or compensation to you. You grant House of Tribes Inc. a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, implement, and otherwise exploit the Feedback for any lawful purpose. Do not provide Feedback that you do not have the right to provide.
Taxes
You are responsible for determining whether taxes apply to transactions, referral rewards, affiliate income, digital assets, or other activity associated with your use of Tribes. House of Tribes Inc. does not provide tax advice. Where required by applicable law, we may collect, report, withhold, or provide information concerning payments or transactions. You remain responsible for your own tax obligations and reporting requirements.
Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to all or part of the Services where reasonably necessary, including because of violation of these Terms or Community Guidelines, fraud or suspected fraud, security concerns, sanctions or geographic restrictions, illegal activity, abuse of Referral Programs, manipulation, harmful conduct toward other users, requests or requirements arising from applicable law, or risks to Tribes, our providers, users, or third parties.
Depending on the circumstances, action may occur without prior notice. Termination of your Tribes account does not transfer custody of your Wallet or digital assets to Tribes. You remain responsible for preserving access to your non-custodial Wallet as described in these Terms.
Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
HOUSE OF TRIBES INC. DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, RELIABILITY, AND ACCURACY.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE; TRANSACTIONS WILL EXECUTE OR SETTLE; PRICES OR DATA WILL BE ACCURATE; THIRD-PARTY INFRASTRUCTURE WILL FUNCTION; TOKENS WILL HAVE OR RETAIN VALUE; THE SERVICES WILL BE ERROR-FREE; SECURITY INCIDENTS WILL NEVER OCCUR; OR ANY DIGITAL ASSET WILL BE SAFE, LEGITIMATE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOU.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HOUSE OF TRIBES INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, DIGITAL ASSETS, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES.
This includes, to the extent permitted by law, losses arising from digital-asset price movements, token failure or fraud, User Content, third-party services, smart contracts, blockchain networks, liquidity, slippage, failed or delayed transactions, incorrect wallet addresses, loss or compromise of wallet credentials, account compromise, service interruptions, Referral Programs, or actions of other users.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless House of Tribes Inc. and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms, unlawful use of the Services, User Content, infringement of another person’s rights, fraud or misconduct, or violation of applicable law. This provision does not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable consumer law.
Governing Law
These Terms and disputes arising from or relating to them or the Services will be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. If applicable consumer law in your jurisdiction provides mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be waived by choosing Delaware law, those mandatory rights remain applicable.
Informal Dispute Resolution
Before commencing arbitration or other formal proceedings, you and House of Tribes Inc. agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally. You may provide notice of a dispute to legal@tribes.wtf. The notice should reasonably describe the nature of the dispute and the relief requested.
The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute for 60 days following receipt of the notice before either party commences arbitration, unless immediate relief is permitted under these Terms or applicable law.
Binding Arbitration
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, either you or House of Tribes Inc. may elect to resolve any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except for disputes that qualify for small-claims court or claims seeking appropriate injunctive or equitable relief concerning intellectual-property rights, unauthorized access, security, or misuse of the Services.
Arbitration will be conducted in English. Unless the parties agree otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise, arbitration may be conducted remotely by video conference. The arbitration will be administered by a nationally recognized arbitration provider under applicable consumer or commercial rules, as appropriate.
The arbitrator will have authority to resolve disputes concerning the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, or formation of this arbitration agreement, except where applicable law requires a court to decide a particular issue. The arbitrator’s award will be final and binding, subject to rights of review provided by applicable law.
Class-Action and Jury-Trial Waiver
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND HOUSE OF TRIBES INC. AGREE THAT DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
YOU AND HOUSE OF TRIBES INC. ALSO WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
If applicable law does not permit a particular waiver, that waiver will apply only to the maximum extent legally permitted.
Limitation on Time to Bring Claims
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services must be brought within one year after the claim arose. If applicable law prohibits shortening the applicable limitations period, the legally required period will apply.
Privacy
Our collection and processing of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you acknowledge that personal information will be processed as described in that policy.
Links and Third-Party Content
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, applications, social accounts, protocols, or resources. Links are provided for convenience and do not necessarily constitute endorsement. House of Tribes Inc. does not control
independent third-party content or services and is not responsible for losses arising from your use of them.
App Store Terms
If you download the Tribes application through the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use of the application may also be subject to applicable terms imposed by Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms between you and House of Tribes Inc., except to the extent they may have rights as third-party beneficiaries under applicable platform requirements. Nothing in these Terms is intended to override mandatory terms imposed by the applicable app-distribution platform.
Waiver and Severability
Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later. If any provision is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. House of Tribes Inc. may assign or transfer these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or similar transaction, or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, applicable Referral or Affiliate Terms, and any additional terms expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and House of Tribes Inc. concerning the Services. They supersede prior agreements, representations, and communications concerning the same subject matter.
