Does a Tribe control my money?

Tribes

No. A Tribe never pools member funds for ordinary Trades. USDC sits in your own balance, and a Tribe allocation is a budget label on it rather than a separate community wallet. You can move that allocation back to your personal balance, subject to any open positions, and nobody else can spend it.

How the balance is arranged

One underlying account balance, with virtual allocations to each Tribe and an unallocated personal balance. An allocation such as a set amount earmarked for one Tribe is an accounting control, not a transfer of custody.

What nobody else can do

No custody transfer to Callers or Trade creators. No forced trading. A Trade creator can recommend an exit; they cannot force-close another member's position.

Joining costs nothing

Membership does not require a deposit. You can be in a Tribe, read it and talk in it without funding anything, and fund only when you decide to trade.

Membership fees are not investment

Where a Tribe charges for access, that revenue is kept distinct from trading capital and from Battle stakes. A membership fee is a payment for access, and is never presented as a return.
