Who can see my positions?

Your positions on Tribes are public. Other people can see what you are trading, the positions you have open, your trading history and the Tribes you are part of. That visibility is part of how Tribes works: people can discover traders, follow what friends are doing and see where different communities are active.

Why are positions public?

Trading on Tribes is meant to be social.

Seeing what other people are trading gives the conversation context. You can discover a token through someone you follow, see who else is holding it, open their thesis or Call and decide for yourself whether you want to trade it too.

What can other people see?

Your profile can show your current positions, recent Trades, trading history, verified performance and the Tribes you have joined.

That activity can also appear across social feeds, Token pages, Tribe activity and leaderboards where it helps people understand what is happening across Tribes.

Does public mean someone can control my position?

No.

People can see your trading activity and the Tribes you belong to, but they cannot access your wallet, move your money or change your positions.

Seeing someone's trade and controlling someone's trade are completely different things.

Why does Tribes work this way?

Because the people are part of the market.

Seeing what friends, traders and Tribes are doing makes it easier to discover opportunities, find new communities and understand what people are paying attention to.
