What are Tribe Battles?

Tribe Battles are competitions between two Tribes over a set period of time. The Tribes agree on the market, duration and Battle type, then their eligible trading activity is scored until the Battle ends. The result becomes part of both Tribes' records.

How does a Tribe Battle work?

One Tribe challenges another and chooses the Battle terms, such as the market category, duration and Battle type. The other Tribe can accept, decline or counter the challenge.

Once both sides agree, the terms are locked and the Battle begins. When time runs out, the result is recorded along with the Tribes' head-to-head history.

What can a Tribe win?

A Friendly Battle is about competition, reputation and the result itself. There is no financial stake.

XP Battles can put an agreed amount of Tribe XP at stake. The winner receives the XP at stake, while a draw returns it to both Tribes.

Can you bet money on a Tribe Battle?

No. Tribes does not currently offer cash Battles.

Battles are designed around competition, XP, reputation and Tribe performance rather than betting money against another community.

How are Tribe Battles scored?

The goal is to reward good trading, not simply the Tribe that uses the most money or takes the most risk.

Performance can take factors such as return, risk and drawdown into account. Participation can matter too, but with limits so that a larger Tribe does not automatically have an advantage.

The exact scoring system is still being finalised before launch.
