Building Tribes, together

When we introduced Tribes, we said we would rather build in the open than show up later with a finished announcement. This is what that looks like right now.

Tribes is in its build phase. The app runs, the first testers are using it, and a lot of it is still changing every week. That is exactly the moment we want more people inside.

So we are opening two doors: a Discord where you can talk with us and with each other, and a beta of the iOS app you can install today.

This is where the early community lives. You can talk about the app, share ideas for what it should do, tell us what feels wrong and swap notes with other traders who are trying it too.

It is also the fastest way to hear what is happening. When something ships, changes or breaks, the Discord hears about it first.

We read what gets posted there. A lot of what Tribes becomes will come from those conversations, not from a roadmap we wrote on our own.

Try the iOS beta on TestFlight

Join the iOS beta on TestFlight.

TestFlight is Apple's way of sharing an app before it is in the App Store. To join:

1. Install TestFlight from the App Store on your iPhone.
2. Open the beta link above on that iPhone.
3. Tap to accept the invite, then install Tribes from TestFlight.

It is a beta, so expect rough edges. Some screens will change, some features are not finished yet and you may find bugs we have not. When you do, tell us in the Discord. That feedback is the whole point of letting people in this early.

What comes next

The order matters, so here it is.

The web app. This is next, and it is close. Soon you will be able to use Tribes in the browser as well as on your phone.

The App Store. Once the web app is live, we take everything we have learned from the beta, finish and polish the iOS app, and submit it to the App Store.

Android. The Android version follows soon after that.

We are not putting dates on these yet. We would rather tell you when something is ready than promise a day and miss it. The Discord is where each step will be announced first.
